This Grenache is sourced from 3 different vineyards on the Central Coast; Coastview (Monterey), Rolph, and Wills Hills (west side Paso Robles).

Syrah from 4 different vineyards throughout the Central Coast; Mesa Del Sol (Monterey), Jespersen (Edna Valley), Two Wolves, and Zaca Mesa (Santa Barbara).

The Syrah from Coastview Vineyards Casita Terrace block, and Mesa del Sol’s Vineyard both grew and flourished on the elevated portions of these sites. Both vineyards have a diurnal rhythm that tends to have a dramatic temperature differential from day to night and are heavily influenced by the Pacific Coast’s marine layer. This swing helps preserve acidity in the fruit while attaining optimum ripeness, layered complexity, and structure from the 100% whole cluster fermentation.
