Nose

Palate
Full bodied palate of rich dark coco powder, soy, sweet dark cherry and boysenberry juice. Lush tannins leading to a finish or refreshing mountain tannins and brown spice.
Growing Conditions
2015 was a stellar vintage for Napa winemaking. A cool spring meant smaller grape clusters and resulted in lower yields than usual, while the quality of fruit was exceptional. Warm summer weather brought grapes to optimum ripeness before one of the earliest harvests in memory. The resulting wines show intense aromatics and complex fruit character.
Aging
5% stainless steel, 5% barrel fermented. Aged 20 months in 100% new French oak barrels
