Nose

The nose shows classic aromas from the both the cooler and warmer parts of the Sonoma Coast, with black and red cherry, anise, and earth.

Palate

The palate is brighter, with strawberry, cherry cola, and currant, along with notes of coriander, cedar and cinnamon. Lively and fresh, with vibrant flavors and smooth texture, this is simply a pleasing wine to drink.

Complex and concentrated, with a vivid mix of blueberry, black- berry, tar, cedar and berry jam. Full-bodied, spicy and floral, folding together nicely on the finish.

Sourced from three vineyards that represent the varied terroir of the Sonoma Coast, these seemingly different growing areas (Carneros, Petaluma Gap, and Annapolis) come together to create a classic Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.

Winemaking

The lots were fermented separately, and underwent malolactic fermentation in French oak (40% new), before being blended just before the 2010 harvest.

Aging

5 months in barrel before bottling.

Appearance

Lovely ruby purple color.
