Growing Conditions

100-year-old vineyards in Oakley grow in deep, sandy soil along the delta of the San Joaquin and Sacramento Rivers, which cool the grapes and allow them to hold their bright acidity.

Winemaking

Individual lots were harvested separately, very gently crushed, fermented at an optimum 85 degrees F.

Aging

Aged in 35% new French oak for eight months.

Appearance

Dark ruby color.

Food Pairing

Pairs with grilled meats, pasta dishes, pizza with goat cheese.
