Nose
The enticing aromas of this juicy, ultra-fresh and pure expression of Grenache are undeniable: crushed raspberries, and wild strawberries alongside fresh-cut summer herbs with a hint of citrus.
Palate
Although lighter in weight, the palate immediately transports this wine into the realm of high complexity normally reserved for heavier wines. The delicious fruit is present, but there’s so much more to its story: crushed rock, ocean air, naval orange, powdered sugar texture, rosewater, and fresh cream all laced together with balanced yet refreshing acidity.
Growing Conditions
Paderewski Vineyard:
Travel just west of Paso Robles, and you will find Paderewski Vineyard: 67 acres of undulating, steep, limestone rich hillsides within 570 rural, spring-fed acres. In the early 1900’s, this vineyard was cherished and farmed by world-renowned pianist, Polish diplomat, and vintner, Ignacy Jan Paderewski. Fast forward a century, and this property stood forgotten and fallow. Lucky for us, in 2004, we became the stewards of this amazing piece of property.
