Making the best wine the California Central Coast has to offer for over 30 years. The Hope family has been farming in Paso Robles for more than 30 years. When they arrived in this barely-discovered region, they planted apples and grapes. Little did they know that the rolling, oak-studded terrain of Paso Robles would one day become a viticultural terroir of significance and one of the top winegrowing regions for quality red wine within the Central Coast. Today, Hope Family Wines produces six brands: Austin Hope, Treana, Liberty School, Troublemaker, Austin and Quest. Austin's dream of making Paso Robles a destination for world class wines is being realized with history making accolades and scores on all of our wines and of course, the iconic Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon has set the benchmark for luxury cabernet from Paso Robles. The Austin Hope & Treana Tasting Cellar offers seated tastings with a casual, fun approach to award winning, world class wines. The spacious, unique tasting areas are a blend of eclectic décor, lounges and outdoor cabanas overlooking the estate vines. We look forward to sharing our wines, our passion and creating an exceptional experience for you.

A love of wine and hospitality in equal measure: Varinder and Anita, owners of Copia Vineyards and Winery, produce elegant Rhône and Bordeaux varietal wines. He from an engineering background and she from the world of fine dining restaurants, together they came to Paso Robles to make wine from the ground up, one small lot at a time. Copia’s world-class Willow Creek and Adelaida estates offer stunning views of the rolling hills of Paso Robles’ Westside. At Copia, you are invited to experience the story of two explorers, enjoy the wines that they craft and hear about the land that continues to inspire them. Hailed decades earlier as a “jewel of ecological elements” by legendary winemaker André Tchelistcheff, DAOU Mountain was rediscovered by brothers Georges Daou and Daniel Daou in 2007. Then known as Hoffman Mountain Ranch, the property produced notable wines and was widely considered the birthplace of modern winemaking in Paso Robles. However, its full potential lay unfulfilled for more than 30 years. After years of searching, their worldwide quest for a sublime terroir ended here, on steep slopes that ascend to an elevation of 2,200 feet, all blessed with the type of calcareous clay soil found in the greatest appellations. Under the brothers’ stewardship, the Adelaida District would soon become the world’s newest benchmark for Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux varietals. DAOU is the culmination of the brothers’ shared dream. Through their vision and perseverance, it’s served as a catalyst for the entire Paso Robles region’s rise on the global wine scene, taking the industry by storm, challenging conventions and changing the paradigm of what a wine company can be.

The Fableist is a collaboration between winemakers Curt Schalchlin and Andrew Jones. Curt, owner and vintner of the heralded winery Sans Liege, is known for his critically acclaimed Rhone varietal wines. Andrew, winemaker of Field Recordings, spends his days planning and planting vineyards and has stood foot in just about every vineyard on the Central Coast. Together, they produce The Fableist, a collaboration that gives special attention to the craft and story behind each wine. Each bottle has been artfully designed and inspired by one of Aesop’s many fables. Just as each of his timeless vignettes has a moral, we believe that every blend has its own story to tell, its own lessons to teach. There’s something profound about wine; it can inspire, bring loved ones together, fill hearts with warmth. As you enjoy each glass, we hope these stories spark a desire to ponder what really matters in life — and may they encourage you to find the wisdom within yourself.

When my husband Stephen and I first decided to leave Hollywood and move to Malibu, we either wanted a home where we could walk to the beach, or grow grapes; we happened upon a property that could do both. In 2001, we planted our first vineyard. The property's proximity to the ocean offered the perfect environment for growing Chardonnay grapes. Realizing that soon we would have lot’s of fruit, I bought 100lbs of grapes and began making my first wine, with my then 2 1/2 year old daughter in tow, in the kitchen of that very home. Since then, our family has grown in our love for harvesting and producing award-winning wines made with grapes grown all the way from the Malibu Coast to the Central Coast. We produce 800-1,200 cases of Estate wine each year. Our Paso Robles Vineyards are on one of the highest and most beautiful elevations on the west side's Willow Creek AVA. We can't wait to include you in our story, and share our special wines!

Female owned and operated, J Dusi Wines is guided by its head winemaker and owner Janell Dusi. Janell was born and raised on the Dusi Vineyard where her grandfather Dante taught her the old world Italian style of winemaking. The Dusi family’s heritage and history in Paso Robles Wine Country dates back to the early 1920’s, where grape growing has been a craft that has deep roots in the Dusi family. The sustainable farming practices that were implemented by Janell’s great-grandparents ninety years ago are still the standard that we follow today. The unique, hand crafted quality of J Dusi Wines results from Janell’s intimate involvement in every step of the process: working in the vineyard, driving the tractor, hand picking her own fruit, crushing the grapes and fermenting the juice from the bins to the barrels to the bottle. One thing Janell knows for sure; winemaking is part science, part art and 100% passion. Janell takes great pride in blending tradition with progress. The Dusi family grows wine grape varietals including: Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Clairiette Blanche. Along with the Classic Zinfandel, Carignane, and Petite Sirah with an adventurous spirit, Janell is able to produce more hand crafted wines to highlight her “spice rack” in the cellar. The Dusi Family’s true passion is Zinfandel. Janell Dusi is a farmer and she is a winemaker. She continues a legacy and also the dream: A family tradition with a new perspective.

Mitchella is a small family-owned estate vineyard and winery located on the eastside of Paso Robles along the HuerHuero Creek. We are committed to making small lots of premium handcrafted wines, and believe it starts by attentively cultivating quality wine in the vineyard. Our wines are only available at the winery or in select wine bars, shops, and restaurants. In the eighties, after consuming a fair amount of White Zinfandel (Twin Hills, Mastantuano, etc), Angela and Darren Mitchell were converted by a bottle of 1987 Eberle Cabernet Sauvignon and their passionate quest for fine red wine began. In 1993, Darren frustrated by the high cost of their new hobby, decided to take a winemaking class taught by local Zinfandel legend, Charles Poalillo, at Cuesta Community College. What began as an attempt to save money, developed into a quest for more knowledge of wine and production, more classes (at UC Davis, Allan Hancock, Aspen School of Wine, Copia, and Cal Poly), investments in equipment and supplies, and finally, the shift back to Darren’s farming roots, a vineyard of their own. Four years later, in 1997, wanting more control over the quality of grapes, the couple planted the first grapes: 10 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and 10 acres of Syrah on the hilltop overlooking the old adobe farmhouse where Darren grew up. They also decided, if they were going to give the grapes the attention they deserved, they would have to move onto the property. What was supposed to be a temporary two year stint, turned into a nearly nine year adventure that finally came to fruition with the building of the home and tasting room which you see today. Since then, their passionate endeavor has consisted of updating, cultivating, and nurturing the vineyard, producing small lots of fine truly-handcrafted wines and enjoying the fruits of their labor with friends, family, and customers.

Tablas Creek is the realization of the combined efforts of two of the international wine community’s leading families: the Perrin family, proprietors of Château de Beaucastel, and the Haas family of Vineyard Brands. Equally owned and run by the two families, the partnership begun in 1987 remains today as ever, even as the next generation of Haases and Perrins have stepped into leadership roles over recent decades.
