Nose
The perfumed nose exudes pretty, pure notes of fresh strawberry, lilac, crushed white rocks, wild thyme, black licorice, and white pepper.
Palate
The palate is silky and seamless, supple and long, with flavors of strawberry, Sant Rosa plum, flowering aromatic herbs, anise, lavender and hints of white chalk mineral notes. This is a beautifully balanced wine that offers pure enjoyment now, and will age through the mid-term.
Growing Conditions
The Paderewski vineyard is a beautiful pairing of hillsides where we work with Grenache, Mourvdre, Syrah and now Tempranillo. Originally planted and farmed in the 1900s by Polish diplomat and symphony conductor, Jan Paderewski, today we work with our good friends at Epoch winery to craft this explosive and polished wine.
Winemaking
The 2023 Versailles is a blend of Grenache and Mourvedre, co-fermented with 5% Viognier, blended with a small amount of Syrah.
