The intriguing secondary notes of cedar, dried cherry and crushed spearmint leaf beckon a sip filled with tart cranberry, orange pith and well-integrated oak. Toasted almond stands out on the finish with an easy-drinking and foodfriendly acidity.

The nose presents aromas of bright cherry and cranberry with an essence of vanilla and subtle nuance of violet. Notes of ripening strawberry and fresh cherry are enhanced by bright acid and fruit on the front of the pallet which leads into well-structured tannins on the finish with a hint of caramel.

Beginning notes of blueberry lead to aromas of tobacco leaf, chocolate, and cherry cola. Hints of blackberry and blueberry open up to distinct notes of saddle leather and cedar. Progressive tannins culminate in a refreshing acidity that revitalizes the pallet.

On the nose, complementary layers of dark cherry, black plum and cognac emerge. The powerful yet pleasantly smooth palate boasts currant, raspberry, baking spices and vanilla with a long-lasting toasted oak finish.
