Nose
Intoxicating, lifted red fruit aromatics, balanced with killer spicy/savory tones from the Mourvedre and Graciano.
Palate
Aromatically and texturally this juice screams, DRINK ME NOW
The verve and freshness is otherworldly. I can't believe how big this is, yet so light and graceful. The most Paso fruit we've ever put into a blend and I'm really digging it. I think I'm hooked.
On the palate the chalky freshness and minerality is so distinctive.
Growing Conditions
The PBV Graciano, also planted on limestone hillside in Ballard Canyon, brings lots of spice and darker fruit tones into the mix. The majority of this wine is sourced from Fulldraw in Paso's Templeton Gap, and Kruse Vineyard in Willow Creek District and you can really taste the soil. The Fulldraw Grenache portion is situated on a super steep North facing slope that is littered with Limestone.

Winemaking
This is our first ever legit GSM. Kinda. More like a GMGS, but it's close enough. I must admit, having the Mourvedre's savory character lurking in the background makes the Grenache's bright red fruit pop so hard aromatically it takes this wine to a completely different stratosphere.
- Never fined or filtered.
