Nose

The nose is dominated by honeysuckle, flinty minerality, and subtle honey essences.

Palate

The mouth feel is surprisingly full and complex with flavors of tropical fruits, vanilla, Asian pear, and stone fruit that mingle playfully on the palate. The finish is framed with firm acidity, minerals, and fresh fruit.

Growing Conditions

Midnight Cellars was blessed with a good amount of pre-season rainfall for its estate vineyards in 2021. Much of the rain poured during a single storm in late October, sending both the vineyard and production teams into overdrive for a short time.

Harvest

Although a mad dash was crucial in an effort to get the grapes off the vine, all other aspects of harvest 2021 went smoothly. Resulting in both good yields and quality.
