Nose

Plum, cassis, nutmeg, and hints of vanilla lead into brooding black cherry and blueberry aromas.

Palate

Finishing off with an incredibly smooth finish and a touch of oak barrel char.

Winemaking

Fermented in 1.5 ton open top fermenters.
30% whole cluster.

Aging

16 months in 40% new French oak barrels, heavy toast.

Appearance

The Slide Hill is always a standout with a very dark purple core and ruby edges.
