Nose
The nose brims with elegant aromas of ripe cherry, candied strawberry, and rhubarb with hints of amaretto and a touch of smoke.
Palate
Saturated notes of wild red fruit are balanced by cinnamon and other exotic spices. The tannins are well-integrated with a lingering dusty finish—a feminine and elegant representation of the Grenache Noir varietal.

Two of the best lots in 2015 were from the steep, volcanic soils of the Stagecoach Vineyard on Atlas Peak and the hundred-year-old vines from the Besson Vineyard in the Central Coast.

14 months in French Oak, 60% new.
Appearance
Deep ruby in the glass.
