Brimming with dusty cocoa powder, a hint of bergamot oil, and a slight violet undertone make this wine a beautiful wine to enjoy on any occasion. Full-bodied and quite supple from nearly three years of extended barrel aging
The color is dark, brooding, and opaque. The nose offers hints of wintergreen and Bergamot oil which combine with the sumptuous flavors of plum, currant, and a decadent chocolaty richness, all supported by enough grip to allow this port to be enjoyed over the next decade or more.
Deep color with aromas of black currant, casiss and dusty cocoa powder. Hints of blueberry, black cherry and sandalwood round out the palate. Firm tannins with a subtle astringency.
The tannins are strong yet it has an oppulence that gives it a soft, silky finish. Full of blackberry jam notes on the nose the palate is comprised of blackberry pie with a hint of dusty cocoa powder. Aged in French oak for 30 months leaving a long, spicy sandlewood finish.
The nose is full of blackberries, blueberries and plum aromas. The palate is full and rich with dark blackberry, boysenberry and subtle hints of chocolate, allspice and tobacco. The finish is soft, silky and beautifully balanced.
A bright and perfumed nose highlights fresh cherries, rhubarb and floral notes of lilac. The palate is silky and forthcoming with bright fruit. The finish is plush and nicely textured.
