A brief history

At Sixmilebridge, we make fine wines from noble Bordeaux grape varieties. We farm our Adelaida District vineyards organically and thoughtfully. And we honor our history through storytelling.

We are singularly focused on making fine wines from fastidiously farmed grapes. Our low-intervention approach honors the fruit that we organically farm. The resulting wines are balanced and savory, and well-suited for aging.

We invite you to our quiet corner of Peachy Canyon to experience our gracious hospitality. Here, among the vines and native plantings, guarded by an ancient coast oak, we will welcome you personally and guide you through a seated exploration of our wines.

Meet The Team

  • Anthony Yount

    Anthony’s wines have twice placed in Wine Spectator’s “Top 100,” but he’d prefer that you not know that. Because in his view, if you can identify a wine as his, he’s done his job all wrong. “It’s the vineyard,” he insists, “not the man.” And oh, these Sixmilebridge vineyards. They’re like nothing else. Anthony also makes white wines under the Kinero Cellars label, and a red from the Yount family ranch, Royal Nonesuch Farm, as well as other award-winning bottlings.
