Palate
About equal parts Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, this blend shows elements of each distinct varietal and is both sweet and savory. Ripe raspberry and braised meats jump out of the glass, with scents of cola nut, pomegranate, mint leaves, leather, and cinnamon stick. Aged in about 30% new French oak. It has a soft, round body that envelopes around bright acidity and mild tannins.
This wine is easy to drink now but we look forward to visiting it again in the coming years. If you enjoyed our 2019 GSM, the 2020 is a strong sequel.
