Nose
Complex aromas of citrus—lemon rind, tangerine and a perfect touch of pith—complement the floral backdrop of orange blossom.
Palate
Layers of mouth-filling fruit knit together honey and spice notes, orange marmalade and a bit of fresh herb with balanced tension and an underlying toastiness.
Growing Conditions
Two family-owned vineyards are the source for our Turbine White. Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne are grown at Landa Vineyard located in the eastern foothills in the Sonoma Valley appellation. The Viognier adds floral aromatics while the Marsanne is a beautiful blending wine adding mid-palate rich-ness along with acidity. Roussanne contributes aromatics and elegance. Grenache Blanc and Picpoul Blanc are grown nearby at Snow Vineyard. The Grenache Blanc adds long length and balanced alcohol to the blend, with rich notes of citrus and herbs, while the Picpoul Blanc, which translates to “lip stinger,” is a great complement to these other Rhône-style varietals bringing a touch of tropical lushness combined with crisp, mineral acids and spiciness.
