Often described as “one of the most beautiful wines” we make at Booker, Ripper is pure 100% Grenache from the estate.

If we are being honest, Eric can hardly stand making a ‘pink’ wine – so much so that we are convinced the color is dark as a result of him trying to make it an almost-red-wine.

Often described as a Booker flagship, Fracture is one of the world’s great Syrahs. Only the softest Syrah in barrel makes the cut for this dense and powerful wine. The namesake pays homage to the calcareous soil in our vineyard, the limestone causes it to ‘fracture’. 

Tempranillo is the smallest planting on the Booker estate and thus the smallest production of all of the Booker wines. We rarely make more than 200 cases of this wine each vintage.

Oublié’s blend is always Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre – our California version of a Châteauneuf du Pape. The namesake is a play on the French term for “forgotten”. Rhône varietals grow beautifully on our estate and we believe that they are far-too-often forgotten when you think of a California wine.

The ONES Cabernet starts so fresh with gorgeous ripe, dark fruit flavors. The bouquet is spring flowers and beautiful french oak on the way to a soft mid-palate with no trace of harsh tannins. Multi-dimensional and complex, the finish stays with you for what seems like an eternity. This wine is strutting its stuff now and will continue to do so for 15 years.

Always robust and Rhône inspired, if you aren’t typically a fan of white wine, this just might be the bottle to change your mind. The bouquet on 2019 vintage is so bright and happy, it could transport you back to a perfect springtime day in the vineyard. The Viognier shows off with vibrant notes of fresh lime, honeysuckle, and Meyer lemons leading to crisp white minerality. It would pair beautifully with Maryland blue crab cakes, clam linguine, and perhaps some Crema Catalana for dessert.

Vertigo is our Syrah-heavy "G-S-M". It is spicy, structured, and always performs. The name is a nod to the steepness of the hillside on our estate where we grow the fruit for this wine.

The ONES Syrah begins with a beautiful nose of cassis and luscious berries, straight from the vine while the front-palate shows you the unbelievable seamlessness of a Westside Paso Syrah. As always, the mid-palate is silky smooth leading to beautiful flavors of blueberry compote and vanilla bean complete with notes of light roasted espresso that lasts over a minute.
