Nose

This Chardonnay brings in flavors of crisp tropical fruit and pineapple: a perfect companion to a sunny summer day or a brief imaginary tropical island getaway (better than spending money on airfare).

Palate

On the mouth, flavors of peach and Asian pear are met with a smooth finesse. Ending with a long green apple finish, this lightly-oaked Chardonnay will leave you wanting another sip.

Growing Conditions

As good as harvest can get-it just about did in 2014. With early rains, a perfect fruit set was sure to be an outcome. A sunny and mildly-hot summer didn’t bring us harsh heat spikes, letting the grapes mature the way they out to.

Harvest

This particular harvest yielded us perfect fruit quality in both our sparkling and still wines. Essentially: enjoy this wine that’s chock-full of perfect grapes!

Winemaking

- Grapes were hand-picked and whole-cluster pressed

- Stainless Steel fermented at 55-60° to retain freshness

- 20% Malolactic Fermentation

Food Pairing

This Chardonnay gets along swimmingly with a lot of food personalities. Its best friends include your favorite panini, grilled shrimp cocktail, pasta Alfredo, pulled pork sandwiches and seared scallops. Have a hankering for cheese? Grab a soft chevre and indulge.
