Palate

We put our hand out and accept nature's gift. Our first Grenache Blanc in a long while, it was well worth the wait. This wine is a ray of sunlight beaming through a cozy sunroom with starfruit on the nose is a fun new wine on the J Dusi lineup. Opens with ripe honeydew melon and glides into soft baked apple on the mid-palate. Followed by a delicate minerality and subtle pineapple finish.

Winemaking

Janell Dusi is the proprietor and winemaker, specializing in Zinfandel. She is a fourth generation farmer who was the first of the family to go beyond farming to produce signature wines from their vineyards. Janell honors her heritage by winemaking in the most native form. Her signature style is non-invasive wine handling. She chooses to age this Grenache Blanc in stainless steel to showcase the bright fruit and natural acidity of this varietal. Her winemaking style respects and reveals the natural varietal characteristics of Grenache Blanc.
