Nose
It has intense aromas of blackberry, anise, plum and currants.
Palate
The palate is full and rich with flavors of berries, chocolate, bramble and hints of coffee. The mouthfeel is immense with broad structured tannin intertwined with vibrant acidity creating a concentrated wine with a long lasting finish.
Winemaking
The grapes for the 2016 Teroldego are handpicked at first light and bought immediately to the winery where they are destemmed and transferred to a closed top tank for fermentation. It spends two weeks on skins achieving full extraction, flavor and body. We press the grapes and combine the free-run and press together for malolactic fermentation and then aging in barrels.

10 months in 40% new American oak.
Appearance
The 2016 Teroldego is a dark purple wine.
