Growing Conditions

The majority of vineyards used to produce the 2013 vintage are located in the Sonoma Valley and Dry Creek Valley, both known for crafting superior Zinfandel.

Like the prior vintage, the 2013 growing was dry and temperate with excellent weather for producing superior wine grapes.

Harvest

Harvest began last September when the individual vineyards reached their peak of flavor.

Aging

Each vineyard lot was fermented and aged separately in 75% French and 25% American oak barrels for 20 months.
