Nose
The wine shows blackberry and cassis on the nose.
Palate
The mouthfeel is polished, with bright acidity and fine grained satiny tannins. Flavors are red and dark fruit, earthy, with hints of forest floor and black tea. Enjoy mocha on the lingering finish.
Growing Conditions
The rocky, volcanic hillside soil on Atlas Peak is perfectly suited for Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards are close-row planted, which means no tractors--all hand tended. Winemaker: Victoria Coleman.
