Growing Conditions
his 2014 Sauvignon Blanc represents one of the very first wines from the ONEHOPE Vineyard located in the heart of Napa Valley. The 2014 vintage came fairly early but turned out excellent. The summer was consistently warm, but never scorching hot which allowed us to pick at optimum ripeness, creating intense aromatics on the nose and great fruit character on the palate.
Aging
The grapes spent 11 months in French and American oak before bottling in late August.
Food Pairing
Baked goat cheese in a walnut crust with greens and apples; calamari with garlic; feta; humbolt fog; seafood salad; simple cream of asparagus pureed soup; stilton with mango cheese.
