Nose
This wine bursts with aromatics of honey, caramelized green apple
and mandarin orange.
Palate
Its rich entry reveals soft notes of peach lifted by well-structured acidity. A
mouth-watering finish reveals notes of graphite, nectarine and blanched heirloom apple and a touch of
vanilla spice.
Growing Conditions
Drought-like weather and consistently mild temperatures created favorable growing conditions throughout
the 2013 growing season. The fruit was able to ripen fully and develop aromatic intensity, yet maintained
bright freshness and acidity. Despite being the earliest harvest in years, our 2013 wines are stunning in
their rich coloring and outstanding complexity.

Winemaking
The grapes were hand-sorted and gently whole-cluster pressed. After settling overnight, the juice was
racked to barrels for 100% native yeast barrel fermentation followed by malolactic fermentation.
Aging
The wine
was aged in 85% new French oak barrels for eleven months on the lees, which were stirred weekly.
Appearance
Bright and brilliant with golden hues.
