carry onto the palate.
Palate
The nose evolves into a black cherry compote.
Structured and well balanced, yet rich and complex along the lines of
Premiere Grand Cru Bordeaux. While this wine drinks well upon release
its aging potential is at lease 10-15+ years with proper storage.
Winemaking
Partially punched cap fermented and barrels aged for 32 months with
only one racking prior to blending.
Aging
Extended barrel aging adds to the
complexity and mouthfeel. This is an unusual treatment for wines in
this day and age except for the wines of Barolo and Brunello.
