Nose
Spicy red fruits and oak notes in the nose.
Palate
Bright and balanced in the
mouth. Pomegranate, currants, and hints of cherry provides an exotic pure
fruit center with a touch of pepper framed by the oak. Clean and crisp it's
finished with a youthful tartness.
Growing Conditions
A dynamic more hedonistic Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is a blend of
the mysterious Secret Clone and clone 7 from its original Pope Valley
vineyard. A very rare and highly appreciated clone since its debut in its
first vintage of 2000. This is only the second vintage of this unique wine
for its original winemaker now from pureCru Winery.
Winemaking
Each lot was punched cap fermented by hand.
Aging
Barrel aged for 32
months in selected French Oak barrels.
