Growing Conditions
A dynamic, more hedonistic Cabernet. This rare wine is made from the original
and highly acclaimed Secret Clone vineyard in the hills east of Howell Mountain.
It is a blend of two lots, special Secret Clone and Clone 7. Winemaker Mitch
Cosentino has been using these grapes since 2000 in other very rare and highly
sought after collectable wines. This is the first produced by pureCru exclusively
from this vineyard. This will be one of the best wines you have had in recent
years!
Winemaking
Both lots were punched cap fermented.
Aging
Barrel aged for 22 months in
French oak barrels, blended just weeks before bottling.
