aromas of baked plums and delicate floral notes of
Violet.
Palate
In the glass, this plush Merlot offers flavors
of Bing cherries and hints of earthiness with wellstructured
tannins and a long, satisfying finish.
Growing Conditions
Vintners are using words like “quality,” “depth of
flavor” and “excellent” to describe the 2014
vintage. Many also noted perfect weather, an
abundant crop and good fortune”.
Harvest
Harvest started
and ended earlier than usual. The first grapes were
picked in late July and nearly all harvest activity
was completed by the third week in October – for
many, a full two weeks ahead of the normal harvest
schedule
