Palate
With a crisp
mouthfeel, this wine displays a nicely balanced acidity
and culminates with a smooth finish that makes it the
perfect pairing with a variety of dishes.
Growing Conditions
The 2014 vintage across California was one of the
earliest harvested vintages in years. A warm spring lead
to early bud break and created the perfect environment
for flowering and fruit set. Moderate temperatures,
with only minimal rain in September, allowed for even
ripening and optimal fruit maturation.
Winemaking
Our 2014 R Collection Chardonnay is an exquisitely
balanced and crisp Chardonnay primarily fermented in
stainless steel tanks, providing a nice alternative to the
heavier oaked Chardonnays.

grilled shellfish or spicy Thai cuisine.
