Aromatics of blackberries, cassis, clove and burnt brown sugar mist the glass.
Palate
Juicy, rich dark fruit of earthy black berry and cherry wrap the palate with chewy wood tannin and a balanced acidity adding structure and depth. Buy a second bottle and leave it in the cellar for 10 years or so and let us know what you think.

Aging
18 months in American oak.
Food Pairing
We have paired our Merlot with many wonderful dishes but our firm favorite is lamb – try a small oven roasted rack with a potato gruyere cheese gratin.
