Nose
The initial tight nose blooms given a little patience throwing black cherry, currant and a deliciously winsome hibiscus black tea note.
Palate
The mid-weight palate opens to waves of black and red bramble fruit, cherries and candied red licorice. Crisp acidity is balanced by polished and seamlessly integrated tannins, giving this vintage a gracious Pauillac edge, complimented by a warm cedar wood and pencil lead sharpness. The finish - a delicious kirsch liqueur floats on the palate and teases you for another taste.
