Nose
A smoky nose of black cherry, currant and cassis lends a subtle spiciness to the palate; this wine is most definitely masculine in nature.
Palate
The pure dark fruit rolls across the mouth with hints of almond and dark tea, finishing with notes of cedar box tobacco.
Growing Conditions
The 2005 Regusci Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is proving to be another fine example of a well-balanced, maturing Stag’s Leap District cabernet sauvignon from one of the stronger vintages of the last decade.
Aging
20 months in American oak.
