The 2020 Serial Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon stands out with deep color and aromas. Wild, red and black berries, sweet herbs and cedar on the nose intensify on the palate with Chambord, chocolate nib, mocha and licorice flavors. Savory notes of black pepper and cigar balance the richness of the fruit and accentuate a long back-palate finish. Smooth and supple, the tannins are velvety with medium plus body.
Proving that “syrah loves a view”, the intensity in this wine comes from Willow Creek’s dramatic elevations. Boysenberry. huckleberry and blackberry flavors are balanced with savory spice notes. Structured with fine-grain tannins and satisfying long finish.
A classically styled Bordeaux blend from the storied Santa Margarita Ranch—Cabernet Sauvignon (30%), Petit Verdot (30%), Merlot (20%), Cabernet Franc (10%) and Malbec (10%). Deep purple and garnet hues anticipate aromas of Dawson plum, blueberry, black raspberry, mocha and pencil shaving. The palate displays layered flavors of pluot, currant, fig and coffee bean with suggestions of dark earth and crushed stone. The finish is graceful with soft edges and definitive weight. Aged for 18 months in 50 percent new French oak barrels. Ultra-limited, only 234 cases produced.
Introducing the first-ever vineyard designate from our estate Deseo Vineyard in the Estrella District—an artful blend of Tempranillo (59%) and Syrah (41%) grown exclusively for rosé production. A light Provençale-style hue foretells aromas of rose petal, white cherry, melon rind and tarragon. The mouthfeel is bright, clean and centered with flavors of watermelon, blood orange and just-ripe raspberry. Luscious mid-palate depth progresses into the finish with refreshing hints of sea spray and lavender. Directly pressed for cold fermentation and aging in stainless
The 2019 Serial Adelaida District Cabernet Sauvignon is a substantial expression of this noble varietal. Dark ruby hues signal the intense black currant and black cherry aromas tinged with leather and tobacco. Flavors of cassis, fig and blackberry compote with hints of dark chocolate and graphite are supported with velvety tannins. A powerful wine that more than delivers on the expectations of an exceptional vintage in Paso Robles.
Sourced from the Halter Ranch estate on the steep south-facing slopes at the base of Santa Lucia Mountain range in Adelaida District. Floral notes of lilac mingle with intense, black raspberry and chambord flavors tinged with anise and black pepper spices.
