Palate
Cabernet Sauvignon which gives the wine lovely red currant, cassis flavors and backbone, Merlot adds lushness and a touch of red cherry, Cabernet Franc adds raspberry and wild flower aromas as well as richness on the palate, Malbec adds a black cherry aroma and taste and Petit Verdot gives it structure for all of these flavors to stand up in your mouth.
Winemaking
We produce this wine which is normally a blend of four Bordeaux varieties with a moderate emphasis on Cabernet Sauvignon. For this vintage we found that using all five Bordeaux varieties made the best tasting wine.
