Nose
Exotic, floral aromas of honeysuckle, gardenia and fresh white peach as you take in the deeply-scented nose. Intense tropical fruit aromas.
Palate
Delicious apricot and a touch of key lime on the front of the palate. Crisp and richly textured, this wine is well-balanced with plenty of mouth-filling pear, nectarine and a hint of green apple. The finish is very fruity, showing refreshing acidity to balance the residual sugar, providing a lovely sensation of dried fruit and minerality that lingers on the palate. Its finish is softly floral, rich and opulent.
Growing Conditions
While some Rieslings are bone-dry, most (especially in California) have a degree of residual sugar. The percentage of sugar remaining in the wine after fermentation for these food-friendly wines range from ±1% (or dry) to ±2% (or off-dry), and V. Sattui makes a wine at each of these levels. Made from the true Riesling grape of Germany's bereich covering the entire Rheingau region, and which grows so well here.
Sourced from 100% Estate vineyards including Hibbard Ranch in Los Carneros and Mt. Veeder and our Booneville, Anderson Valley vineyard.

Its medium-sweetness invites sipping even on it own, but certainly with many foods.
