Spicy, dark aroma laced with 5 spice, boysenberry, cola, and black pepper.
Palate
There is an earthy tone on the palate with very effusive dark berry flavor. Powerful and extracted on the palate, but unctuous and with very refined tannin. Lengthy finish with warm spicy oak tones throughout.

Harvest
The 2015 growing season delivered another great vintage. A mild winter with a dry, warm March caused early bud break. Colder temperatures and light rain in late spring stunted cluster development which ultimately led to smaller grape clusters and berries. Summer temperatures were mild and ripening progressed slowly and steadily with intense flavors developing early. This vintage exhibits concentrated aromatics and deep color.
Aging
10 Months in 50% New French Oak.
Appearance
Deep garnet in color.
