Nose
This wine opens with bright aromas of fresh honeydew melon, white nectarine and crisp Fuji apples. Hints of clove and cinnamon provide added complexity to the nose.
Palate
The textured mid-palate is followed by a clean and focused finish.
Growing Conditions
We source 100% of our 2015 vintage from the Ramal West Vineyard within Carneros. The Ramal West vineyard sits within a half mile of the San Pablo bay, where the vines benefit from morning fog and afternoon winds, cultivating a perfect environment for vibrant acidity and optimum ripeness.
Winemaking
Fermented with native yeast in 100% second use French oak barrels at cellar temperature, then aged sur lees for 10 months before bottling. No yeast, nutrient or fining additions were made from grape to bottle.
