Nose
The nose is rich with deep flavors of toasted almonds, orange blossoms, and candied citrus.
Palate
This wine has a big, round mouthfeel with tropical fruit and juicy green apple, framed by well-integrated oak and a long finish.
Growing Conditions
We source our fruit from the Russian River Valley, Sonoma-Los Carneros, and other choice growing regions in Sonoma County where warm days are tempered by morning fog and afternoon breezes coming from the Pacific Ocean. This climate is well-suited to delicate, early-ripening varieties such as Chardonnay. The fruit develops more slowly and consistently, resulting in wines of exceptional flavor, complexity, and character.
Winemaking
Fermented separately in 100% French oak (30% new) and aged for approximately 8 months. 100% Malolactic fermentation.
Aging
Individual barrel selections are blended and aged for an additional 6 months in 100% French oak before bottling.
Appearance
Golden straw color.
