Nose

Palate
With layers of dark chocolate and a hint of anise. Round tannins and nice acidity complement a very long finish of oak and dark fruit.
Growing Conditions
Roughly 600 feet above the valley floor in the northern Sonoma Mountains, sits the Smothers-Remick RidgeVineyard. It features 18 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon divided into 11 distinctive blocks that mirror the terroir. Known for its small, flavorful berry, this mountain site produces balanced wines with refined tannins.
Winemaking
Fermented in Stainless Steel, 100% ML.
Aging
Aged for 24 months in 30% new oak, barrel selected and blended, then returned to oak for an additional 4 months of aging.
