Nose

Our 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon has aromatics of dried cherries, dried figs, red plum, brown baking spices, vanilla and integrated oak.

Palate

It has a balanced palate with bright acidity, ripe fruit flavors of juicy raspberry and red currant. It has a long finish with round tannins and flavors of cocoa and black cherry.

Growing Conditions

The core of our 2011 Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon comes from the Sonoma Valley AVA. To generate more complexity, we harvest fruit from a handful of low-yielding, rocky sites that offer a diversity of exposures. The cooler, east-facing vineyards brought balance and elegance to the wine while the warmer, west-facing parcels delivered riper aromatics and broader tannins. We also included fruit from Knights Valley (30%) and Alexander Valley (17%) to deepen the bouquet and round out the palate.

Fermented in stainless steel, 100% ML.

Aging
