Palate

The 2019 version of the Tempranillo is a throwback to the 2008 vintage. Big and dark, but not too much tannin. Deep purplish red, this wine is marked by balance, elegance and purity of expression. The nose is dominated by baking spice and cinnamon toast supported with luscious red fruits. The palate showcases a perfect orchestration of acid, tannin, minerality, and mid palate density reminiscent of the old world. This is going to go down as one of the top Tempranillo’s we have ever released and I believe it is because of softer tannins, allowing you to drink immediately, with of course the ability to age this wine for 20 years.
