Growing Conditions
The year started with a wet winter with higher rain than seasons past, which continued to early spring. A warm spring followed, with intermittent showers which encouraged an early bud break. With all the rain, the vines were vigorous and required expert canopy management. The summer came in hot with record breaking heat, multiple days were seen over 104 degrees, which lead to an early verasion in late July.
Harvest
We began harvest October as things cooled off and a balanced brix and acidity was achieved.
