Palate

This reserva-style Tempranillo will make you want to hunker down and experience how its flavors evolve over the course of a meal or in an open bottle over several days. Ripe blue and black fruits, sweet oak, anise, and tar combine with savory/earthy flavorsof roasted herbs, cured meats, graphite, and crushed gravel. Texture abounds while the wine’s acidity and structure keep the sensation fresh and multi-faceted as it travels across the palate – front to back and then to the front again.

Paderewski Vineyard:

Travel just west of Paso Robles, and you will find Paderewski Vineyard: 67 acres of undulating, steep, limestone rich hillsides within 570 rural, spring-fed acres. In the early 1900’s, this vineyard was cherished and farmed by world-renowned pianist, Polish diplomat, and vintner, Ignacy Jan Paderewski. Fast forward a century, and this property stood forgotten and fallow. Lucky for us, in 2004, we became the stewards of this amazing piece of property.
