Best served with rich foods like pastas and steak. Once aged, great with pizza and charcuterie.
100% Sangiovese styled like an Italian wine with bright acidity and strawberry, floral and cedar notes. Aged 3 years in neutral barrels before bottling.
While considered a blending grape in its home of origin, it’s hard to understand a wine unless you’ve had it by itself. Petit Verdot’s job in Bordeaux is to add tannin and body to Cabernet Sauvignon. It is added on cool years to fill out a thin Cabernet. Here in California, especially Paso Robles, we don’t need the Petit Verdot in our Cabernet Sauvignons, thank you very much. So we only planted a small amount just for fun.
A hearty Italian variety with high acidity and big body. Pairs great with rich tomato based dishes.
A rich, full bodied Merlot with full but silky tannins, bright fruit and hints of earth.
Pure Cab Franc at its finest. Heavy, rich with young tannins and bright fruit with hints of mushrooms and pepper.
100% Charbono, a Northern Italian varietal now produced in our Paso Robles vineyard. Lighter with delicate tannins and rich mouthfeel. Pairs well with lighter Italian dishes.
