Nose

An incredibly perfumed nose of black raspberries, white pepper, melted licorice, olive tapenade, and peppery herbs. It starts out reticent and closed but blossoms with extended time in the glass

Palate

Incredibly complex nuances as well as medium to full-bodied richness, ultra-fine tannins, and incredible length.

Growing Conditions

From the cooler, sandy soils of the estate on the westside of Paso Robles.

Appearance

The 2019 Adams Ranch Vineyard offers a lighter ruby/purple hue (it's not opaque).
