Nose

Aromas of dark red fruits, licorice, vanilla, dark plum, black pepper, and mixed herbs jump from the glass.

Palate

Flavors of crisp cranberry, juicy blackberry, dark cherry, black currant, oregano, and bay-leaf are joined by chalky, structured tannins. This Cabernet Sauvignon is rounded out with a smokey undertone and a rich, toasty finish.

Harvest

The harvest was hallmarked by small grapes (yielding more concentrated wines!) along with elevated tannin and phenolic levels.
