Silver Medal in the 2021 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition! A new variety for Autry Cellars, our Italian varietal 2017 Primitivo is a close cousin to Zinfandel. Both come from a Croatian variety called Crljenak. Crushed, and fermented on the skin for maximum flavor, aroma, and color extraction, our Primitivo is another wonderful vintage from Still Waters Vineyards. This will pair nicely with roasted pork, chicken, salmon or even portobello mushroom steaks. Aged in 50% new American oak for 3 years, 80 cases produced.
