Nose

The 2007 Veracity shows inviting aromas of sweet citrus flower, candied orange peel, black raspberry and sassafras.

Palate

A beautiful expression of Grenache… floral-laced fruit, spice and velvety texture. One of our three Rhone-based blends, Veracity is Epoch’s exuberant and voluptuous ‘GSM’ blend, loaded with floral-laced fruit, spice and velvety texture.

A bright and soft, lush palate with intense berry fruit and cigar box spices. Beautifully perfumed with a fruit-forward and rich mouthfeel, this wine will make a Grenache-drinker out of anybody. Drink now or with 5-10 years cellar age.

Growing Conditions

Paderewski Vineyard:

Travel just west of Paso Robles, and you will find Paderewski Vineyard: 67 acres of undulating, steep, limestone rich hillsides within 570 rural, spring-fed acres. In the early 1900’s, this vineyard was cherished and farmed by world-renowned pianist, Polish diplomat, and vintner, Ignacy Jan Paderewski. Fast forward a century, and this property stood forgotten and fallow. Lucky for us, in 2004, we became the stewards of this amazing piece of property.
