This proprietary red wine blend incorporates the classic Bordeaux varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec in a proportion that varies depending on the vintage. The goal is to capture the best possible expression of the distinctive Santa Margarita Vineyard site where the grapes are grown.

The signature red wine of Talley Vineyards, the Estate Pinot Noir has been bottled since the inaugural 1986 vintage and represents a pure expression of the Arroyo Grande Valley appellation. It was the first Pinot Noir produced in Coastal San Luis Obispo County to demonstrate the potential of the area as a world class Pinot Noir winegrowing region.
