Fait Accompli means "a thing that has already happened or been decided before those affected hear about it, leaving them with no option but to accept it."
In the Willow Creek District lies Paper Street Vineyard. This land was used for barley and almonds until the mid-1990s but was mostly abandoned until the Dusi family planted vines here. The limestone-white hills, hot days, and cool nights make for concentrated, vibrant, and mineral-driven wines.
17.5 acres of Mourvèdre and Grenache grow on decomposed granite, gneiss, schist, basalt, and clay loam at 3,200 feet above sea level, making this one of the highest elevation vineyards in the US. Superb clonal selection, tight spacing, huge day/night temperature differentials, and meticulous vineyard work produce grapes that yield vibrant, complex, and compelling wines.
Right Hand Man is that old reliable pickup in your grandparents’ garage that fires up lickety-split when you turn the key and rev the engine. I know that any time I’m in need, it’s my Right Hand Man that will know the road home and deliver me safely there.
Sel de la Terre, meaning "Salt of the Earth", was created in dedication to Mac's grandfather. This Westside Paso 100% Grenache is a combination of fruit from Paper Street, Luna Matta, and our own Estate Vineyards.
A tribute to the past with this classic Syrah/Grenache blend, which Mac first produced in 2006. Stevan and Mac shared an obsession with Grenache, and this wine has always been Mas' tribute to Stevan.
